This annual event is FREE to the public and features art and science activities for all ages. 

Highlights:

Student Art Competition: The event showcased artwork created by Des Moines elementary students. Voting occurred on the Arts Commission Facebook Page from October 25th - November 3rd, and winners were chosen based on the number of likes. The top three students were awarded art supplies.

Live Squid Dissection: Attendees had the unique opportunity to witness a live squid dissection conducted by the MaST Centers Lead Biologist.

Hot Chocolate and Goodie Bags: Complimentary hot chocolate and goodie bags were provided for all attendees.

Squid Dissection Classes: For those interested in the squid dissection, there were two available time slots, each accommodating 15 students, on a first-come, first-served basis through pre-registration.
