CALL FOR ARTISTS
The Des Moines Art Commission is putting a call out for Artists to help at their new Artists Corner at the Des Moines Farmers Market, starting Saturday, June 2.
This will be an ongoing booth through the duration of the farmers market on the first Saturday of each month through October.
We have only 10 spaces available, sized 10′x10. Artists will need to provide own material for hanging and/or displaying work. Cost to show is $25.00 cash to be paid day of farmers market.
Any medium is welcome, and Artists can choose to share the space and half the cost with each other.
If interested, please email at info@desmoinesartscommission.com with description of your work along with at least one example picture. Please include name and/or name of your business. If under 18 you will need to be accompanied by parent during Farmers Market. First come first served.
We are also looking for artists to fill the Des Moines Theater Windows. Please contact us with any instillation ideas as well as works already done. Please note the theater is in re-model stage and works will need to be sturdy.
